8.5m Common Type Totally Enclosed Lifeboats are designed and manufactured in accordance with the latest LSACODE MSC.218(82)&MSC.272(85) and testing in accordance with MSC. 81(70) .This 8.5m Totally Enclosed lifeboat Boat will be launched and recovered by the gravity davit or offshore platform davit, Hydraulic lifeboat davit and so on. The helmsman inside of Common Type Totally Enclosed Lifeboats can launch the SOLAS approval Lifeboats by controlling the remote steel wire. For convenient boarding, Both side doors and back doors provided as the embarking way.
All of the 8.5m with 55 Persons F.R.P SOLAS Approval Common Type Totally Enclosed Lifeboat are built by hand-made layers by layers. The hulls and inner shells are individually shaped in “one piece”. The space between the hull and the internal hull will be filled with PU foam as a buoyancy tank . Most of the fittings and parts of the Marine Totally Enclosed Lifeboats are made of stainless steel.
